The Royal Treatment

This sparkling cake was made for a young woman who had just been crowned in a local pageant. A Level 4 cake, it was made of alternating layers of chocolate and yellow cookies with a chocolate buttercream filling. The cake was then covered in fondant. The border, tiara, and flowers inside the tiara are all made of fondant and gumpaste. Gold luster dust was generously painted on the cake and the tiara to give it that extra royal element.
